Privacy Policy

Inspecalytics builds documentation software for field inspections. This policy describes how we handle information across our web application (app.inspecalytics.com), our iOS app, and this marketing website. The Service is local-first: your projects and photos are stored on your own device by default, and uploading them to our cloud is an optional setting that is off unless you turn it on.

Information we collect

  • Waitlist requests — full name, email, professional role, and optionally company and a note about your needs.
  • Account and profile — email and authentication credentials, plus name, professional role, and optional phone and company.
  • Inspection content — photos, notes, annotations, types and labels, captions, and project metadata you create.

Where your data is stored

By default, your project data and full-resolution photos stay on your device. Optional, off-by-default settings let you back up to the cloud and sync across devices, in which case your data is stored with our backend provider under your account. You can keep your data device-only by leaving cloud features disabled.

Sharing and exports

If you share a project, we create a link with a unique token and store a snapshot so recipients can view it at the access level you choose; view links can be opened without signing in. By default, shares expire after 30 days, but you can set a custom number of days (1–365) or choose no expiration, and you can revoke a share at any time. Reports and exports are generated locally on your device.

How we use information & who we work with

We use information to operate, secure, and improve the Service, authenticate you, enable features you initiate (cloud backup, sync, sharing), respond to support, and comply with the law. We do not sell your personal information. We rely on trusted providers including Supabase (backend), Apple (Sign in with Apple and iOS), Microsoft (transactional email), and Vercel (hosting and marketing-site analytics).
